Life Will never filled with happy or sad. It's a mixture of happy and sad. The protagonist Jagannath's life is apt for this. In this novel Jagannath's life has met a twist, when the secret of the boy baby's kidnap has discovered some years later. This novel starts with the kidnap of the boy baby. This suspense has maintained by the author throughout the novel. 

This novel moves back and forth to give two frame to the novel. How the two frame has linked with a letter? is the uniqueness of this novel. The author has cooked the plot in such twist and turns to hooked the readers start to end of the book. Epistolary  touch in this novel gives more grip to the story.

Political issues, partition of Pakistan, like historical issues has placed. Even Jagannath is also a bigshot in the politics. He has appointed Shamin to write his life as a story. In between he has died. Following this Shamin get a letter. To finish the book Shamin discovers the secret of Jagannath's life through the letter.
