Title. : The Boy Called Ambi
Author : Srividhya Venkatesan
Gayathri Venkatesan
Gener : Biography
Theme : Nostalgic travel, Memoir of a
protagonist, Enlightenment.

This novel is about a MEMOIR of a protagonist Ambi, who is sitting in the rocking chair and chewing his sweet past. This NOSTALGIC TRAVEL explores the character of Ambi and his life struggle and his Enlightenment in spiritual as well as in family life. Even though he is a religious disciple he balances both the family life and spiritual life in great manner. The novel moves mostly in Kumbakonam, Trichy and Delhi circumstances and travels south to north and north to south because of spiritual quest. Rituals, Celebrations and special events are described in Detail. Using the mother tounge, while the dialogue portion gives more realistic touch to this novel. Beautifully portraits the less advantages and development of the past decades. Animals are treated as valuable things, from securing bad omen. Black magic and mantras are chanted in this novel. Pictures are very useful to feel the realistic of the story in late centuries.
Lot of divine scenes are described. Such as lord's acceptances of clothes through the begger and volentier prasadam.
Simply by said ' We can see the god from the poor people's smile '
